Saying Goodbye

As many of you have may noticed the publication date for issue ten has come and gone. There is a reason for this and it isn’t pretty. Lauren and I (Patrick) finally admitted to one another that there was no way for us to finish this issue, and even more continue the journal. When we spoke with Jon and Brittany they agreed that it would be okay if we were to just let go of the idea of the journal and let it rest at issue nine. Some of us have had our lives filled with so many other things that we’re unable to keep up or mental illness had crippled us into inactivity. And we owe you more than we can give, we owe you so much. Without every single person that submitted and supported us, we couldn’t have made it this far. We are sorry that we can no longer fulfill our promises to you.
I want to personally thank every one of you, including my fellow editors. This has been a fantastic and successful journey that has shown that we, as writers and publishers should not be pitted against one another. That, in the hardest writing moments, we are not alone. I love you. You are beautiful people with beautiful words. And there will not be a single day that goes by that I won’t think about what you have given to the world. Keep writing. Keep reading. And be good to one another.
See you space cowboy…
